Hi all, 

For those who have heard the news of Games Workshops update on its rules regarding people who make fan material of their IPs, I have had to pause production on some aspects of this project as I do not want to risk a legal battle when the next major update is released. 


I have been working on 2 animation trailers for this project, 1 to showcase the new multiplayer system I've developed and another trailer for the single player related content. This is still mid/early stage of development as I'm a solo developer working on a project with a large scope. 


I am trying to find out about obtaining a licence from GW to release this project. I am hoping to get some good news on that as I am confident an agreement can be made since I have not, and do not intent to, make money off this specific project.

just.. don't sign any NDAs without taking it to a lawyer first..

I have zero intention of signing anything as of now, the plan is that when I have made it a more fleshed out game I will contact GW for the liecence fee I would need to pay for permission to publish the game, possibly publish and sell in the distant future.
